Hello.

Is there a way to find out about connections to my homes wireless network ?

A logfile to see who has connected, and who has tried. 

Where would I find such an animal.

Try checking out http://192.168.1.1/ . It should provide a nice general overview of what's been on your network since your router last rebooted. If you want a logfile, the modem should provide a general log of this information under the "System Log." Where this log is found, is dependent on your modem model.
