Opted to setup new cable and internet service online so I can save on the $99 installation fee. Received self install kit only to find out that the current Fios setup in my home did not include a coaxial cable.
contacted tech support whom was surprised no so such cable already existed at the home and advised one shouldve been there.
only solution is to have a tech come out and install the missing cable. We schedule the appointment and the tech comes out, installs cable and all done. I was told about the $99 tech fee which I accepted.
what I did not accept was the two additional $99 tech reschedule fees charged to my account. We only had ONE appointment and ONE tech visit.
Never rescheduled anything
Then comes the additional $60 set top box relocation fee. The tech never touched the set top box as I installed it using the the self install kit provide by Verizon them selves.
Deceptive practices all around !! what should be a billed for 139 + 99 tech fee has become almost a $500 bill for a tech fee, two erroneous reschedule tech fees, and a 60 set top box fee that was never even touched by the tech agent.

Did you bother to call the billing department to get it straightened out?

I have called and spoken with an agent over the phone and one via chat. Agent over the phone promised to waive all fees once billed to account and that never happened. Contacted an agent via chat who also stated they credited the two erroneous tech visit fees not nothing on my account yet.
chat agent would not budge on $60 set top box relocation fee even though tech agent never touched my set top box and I installed myself.

You should be able to get that waived as far as I know. If you do chat again, ask for a supervisor, or make sure you do it on a weekday. Sorry to hear about the bad experience. It does take a while for them to issue the credits though so just watch your bill and document EVERYTHING.
