Black screen on CW

Why wasn't there any picture during Supernatural on Oct 28, 9pm. I was watching Grimm on NBC and when I went to check on Supernatural the screen was black. The guide was there but no picture and no sound. The picture came back on for Everybody Loves Raymond (Oh Joy!!). Was there a specific reason Supernatural wasn't shown?
