Those are current and should support simulcrypt.

I would head over to thegreenbutton.tv and post in the Infinitv4 owenrs thread. There are some Ceton employees who may be able to help push your issue through to resolution.

Update; Changed out hard drives in the PC running the ceton device. Reinstalled new win7 x64 home prem OS, reinstalled ceton software IAW online manual, mcard showing green check marks in diagnostics, no third party software installed, updated win7 OS, firewall allowing ceton device IAW manual. Even went as far as bridging the verizon router getting rid of the moca if that was the problem. Oh and using a low pass filter on the ceton device coax. Encryption would hold on the device for about 45 min max. but most of the time 15-20 min. So I can narrow it down its not my system. Sent diagnostics when the system was working and then when the system was not working to ceton. Ceton working with Verizon labs to figure out what the issue could be in my area (Wash DC).

Update;

Ceton exchanged my USB device for their PCIe device.  Same device just as an internal PCIe card.

Setup on the same system with existing software in place.  Had to contact verizon and add the new device Cable ID, Data ID, serial etc.

Guess what?  Works.  No more validation errors and the encryption signal continues without interruption.

Only one issue...every once in a while the screen goes blank on the extenders but cycling the channel back restores the video...strange.  Not sure whats causing that.

So solution is to get the PCIe in the first place.  USB device didnt work for me.

Update;

"every once in a while the screen goes blank on the extenders but cycling the channel back restores the video...strange"

This appeared to have been caused by my firewall.  I allowed the items within the directory  \windows\ehome to have free access within my subnet appears to have cured that issue.

Discovered a few discrepancies within the events files on the system that indicated executable within this directory were not allowed to do things on the network.  I then suspected the firewall.

Hope this help others in this situation.
