When watching a recorded program in another room, often the program stutters - stops every few seconds for just a moment. It's very annoying. It was happening today while watching a football game that started an hour before I came home. What was interesting is that the problems did NON occur during the commercials and certain pre-recorded shots from around the stadium. I called Verizon and they said it was a problem with the broadcast feed. If that's the case, is there no way to avoid it? I'm paying for a service that doesn't work.
If there is an issue with the feed from the channel provider of the game... there is nothing you or Verizon can do about that....
If there is an issue witht he MR-DVR feature, it is either the DVR, the router, the STB you are watching it on, or the cabling between the 3....
Reboot your DVR, your STBs and your router....
If need be, reset the router with a paperclip or pen in the reset hole on the back of the router for 15 seconds
If it continues, contact tech support and have them reset the DVR and STB's
