I would like to request the Esquire Network be made available in 1080p high definition. It's not enough to simply offer the channel; in 2014, it must be available in 1080p high definition.
?? why are you asking for 1080P channels. Currently none are available for FIOS to offer them.
Not sure if its available in 1080i or 720P but only the SD version is currently on FIOS.
As TNS_2 said, there aren't any 1080p broadcasts available. (Other than a bit of on demand.) And that isn't likely to change. At least any time soon. I'm not an expert on the subject, but my understanding is that the bandwidth requirement for 1080p is so much greater that it is essentially unworkable at present.
Plus, if all else was equal, most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference between 1080p and 1080i or 720p . There are more important factors in picture quality. When you look at those new 1080p TVs and think the picture is so great, it's not the resolution that makes the difference.
