Hello,

I'm just curious if it's possible somehow to program Fios remote control to turn on/off dvd player? It's not very convinient to have one controller just for DVT,

It depends on the remote that you have. If your remote has 4 buttons across the top, then yes you can program it to a DVD player and the instructions can be found at

If your remote has only 2 buttons across that top, then you can not program it to a DVD player. You can order the 4 button upgraded remote at

Or you can do as I did; Take the 2-button remote to a Verizon FIOS store, and ask if you can exchange it for a 4-button. Often they have them due to  returns or disconnects.
