I read a lot on this and other forums about the horrendous customer service Verizon provides. I realize that users usually only post comments if there was an issue. This isn't one of those posts.
I had a simple request. Due to some remodeling activity I needed to have my battery backup unit (BBU) relocated from my laundry room to the garage. I made the Verizon contact via live chat through the website. I was offered several windows starting with the following day. We agreed on a four hour window.
Verizon kept me updated on the status of the ticket and the tech called when he was 10 mins from arrival
The tech arrived on time, was friendly and courteous. He completed the job in about 15 mins. I could not be happier with the service provided. Just wanted to let folks know that every service call is not a nightmare.
Wait till you se your next bill.
Tech stated there would be no charge.
I have recieved my next bill and indeed, no charge
