HBO on demand not coming in 7-10 (roughly) PM

 We are trying to catch up on Vinyl on HBO on demand (FIOS Channel 900, HBO, Vinyl). During the evening hours the picture is not coming in, it is unwatchable and no sound. You can not even make out the HBO logo at the start of the show. This happens in either HD or SD.  However during the day, everything is fine. My hypothesis is that people are re-watching Game of Thrones during the evening hours and the server or network can not keep up.  

I can watch Vinyl on HBOGo through my laptop and mirror it to the TV, it is just a bigger hassle.

Has anyone else experienced this, are there other possible reasons this could be happening, or do I have any type of equipment malfunction I could investigate?  

I probably need to investigate other on-demands, but I only really use HBO.

Can you check to see if it is only HBO that doesn't work during this time?

Both HBO and Showtime are heavily pixelated (if I even see any pixels). 

I did watch a VOD from FXM last night and that was fine.
