I have an HD DVR box connected to a non-HD Television. I am having a new HDTV delivered next week. Is there anything I need to add, or anything special I need to do to get the HD cchannels? Thanks

Are you able to select HDTV channels (500+) now on the DVR? If so, there is nothing else you need to do...except change cables.
To get actual HDTV, you need to use a component (red/green/blue) or HDMI cable. A HDMI cable is generally preferred for newer televisions. If Verizon didn't leave one for you, you can order a quality HDMI cable for about $14 from Monoprice.com. If you prefer the cable in white, or need more than 6', then see the rest of their listings here and pick one of the "Premium 24AWG HDMI 1.3a Category 2 Certified Male to Male Cables."
