Yes I remeber the brillant coverage of Daniel Pearl's execution, or the Anwar al-Awlaki interview describing him as a Yemen-based Religious Scholar. The broadcast of threats and speeches by Bin Laden that they couldn't wait to air. That is just hard hitting news! It has nothing to do with giving a platform to terrorism. Verizon needs to drop this channel like a hot rock. I have been a Verizon customer for better than 10 years and as hard as changing over to a new provider is I will have to drop my service if Verizon continues to air al Jezeera America.

Wow- I came on this forum to find out what happened to my AJE News on 457 and read these hate postings. Obviously the people who don't want this station have never watched it and are totally ignorant about it..

I want freedom of choice in my America.  IF you don't agree with something, don't watch it. But don't tread on others freedoms to watch something they can actually learn something from as opposed to FOX network. I think this station gives balanced reporting and is real news as opposed to the talking heads or coffee klatch setup other news programs have become.

It should not be shoved in the programming. I'm not paying extra for it but I do not want to support this garbage propaganda station, or Verizon who supports this. Time Warner and AT&T refuse this station. If someone wants it let them pay extra like HBO. We shouldn't have this garbage shoved down our throats.

Nothing is MORE UNAmerican than censorship, you don't like the channel DON'T WATCH IT!!! Nobody has a gun to your head making you watch it.
