I have never seen an update of anything that introduced more problems than it was supposed to have fixed. There's no way this update should have been released to consumers, It couldn't possibly have been pre-tested by a human being.
I dont have Quantum but if your referring to the recording issue its not just effecting Quantum users but everyone.
I agree, how this was overlooked baffles me
Most folks found 3 obvious bugs immediately after this firmware release: Record light error, guide search error, and skip forward error. Testing is not Verizon's strong suit.
Quite surprised myself that this type of firmware was released. They need to fix this fast - I have only two months remaining on my contract and local competition may get my business.
