Missing channels after upgrade to a DVR

I recently upgraded to a DVR.  After installation, tuning to some of my favorite channels, including NFL Network, The Golf Channel, and Spike, result in a "You are not subscribed to:" message.  Why would I lose my channels if I didn't change my plan, just equipment?

If it doesn't offer them, try the STB problem "fix fios TV issues". 

These channels sometimes just require you to ask you to resubscribe from the box.  One make sure you have purchases requiring a pin.  Two click on the channel and see if it offers you the subscription for free.  I have Ultimate and this has been happening this way for several years.

If still a problem you shoud contact them during business hours to check that your account has the proper options assigned.
