Moving to a new Home with FIOS Internet & Phone But when Will we get TV?

Hi everyone, hope I picked the right forum!

We are moving to a home in a new community in Carroll County, MD in about a month. They have FIOS there as we are able to sign up for FIOS internet and phone but TV isn't available yet.  We have the FIOS triple package at our current home and LOVE it.  Obviously we'd like to stick with all FIOS at the new place but cannot find any information on when, or if, TV will come to the new house.  Does anyone have any information, or can point me in the right direction?  It would also help to know how long a contract we should get with C*mcast to avoid termination fees.  Any help is greatly appreciated as the whole family is very sad to be giving up our FIOS and moving over that other guy...

Ok, I am going to go do that as soon as I finish this post.  I am actually coming from Mont County and have been a bit spoiled with full FIOS for years now.  I should at least be thankful we can get FIOS HSI.  Guess I Was just hoping there would be secret informatoin out there 🙂

I asked and found no secrets, and the thing about secrets is, if you tell them, they are no longer secret. Oh well I tried to point someone in the direction of this thread. When Montgomery County first had FiOS, I had FiOS Phone and Internet. I don't remember if they had bundles back then. But I did have a DTV dish on my fence. FiOS was rocking way past cable. We have had power problems around here in a storms a few times, and as long as my house had power, we hast our tripple play. Cable was down because of all the hardware between the houses and the head end. Passive Fiber Rules!

Good luck.

They would need a Franchise agreement with The Carrol County Gov. Contact them here and bug them. http://www.carrollcable.tv/

If Carrol County has their own cable, it may be hard for Verizon to break into the market if the County is making money off of it. But I am not sure how Carrol Co. works read the info at the link above and bug the County and also Verizon.

It took a little while for them to get one for Montgomery County Maryland. Montgomery County cable was taken over by Comcast years ago.

Ask Verizon here if they have plans. http://www22.verizon.com/content/contactus/ you may get an answer, but Verizon is very private with their information prior to offical announcements and during negotiations.
