So I’m assuming those of us who were affected will get some sort of discount for the inconvenience. Missing the Winter Classic Hockey game alone  deserves that!

Still investigating alternatives for when my FIOS contract expires.

Try a soft reboot, or just unplug your box and reboot that way. I rebooted my box and the guide was updated. All was fine after that. 

You can reboot from : Customer support/Top support tools/ Reboot Fios TV One
