On Demand HD Content Question for SD Channels (e.g. Cartoon Network, BBC America, E!)

Verizon folks--a question.  Is it possible, going forward, as policy for Verizon to carry the HD programming on demand for any of the channels that have HD available but aren't provided yet?

For example, Cartoon Network HD, BBC America HD, and E! HD are all avaliable HD channels, all have HD On-Demand programming available, but are only available in SD both as a channel and on demand.

Any way we could have Verizon automatically carry these and other networks' HD feeds on demand as a workaround until the actual HD channel is made available?  Mind you, this isn't a rquest for a specific or single channel--rather, just a way to placate your customers until you're able to free up space and offer these HD channels at a later time.  Please? 🙂

My guess is probably not.  It really depend on what the agreement between FIOS and the channel provider says.  And most don't allow VOD unless the channel is carried.
