I've had various issues over the past year with using the search feature of the tv guide. The issues have mainly revolved around the guide freezing while searching "too fast." This past week, however, the HD DVR has been resetting while browsing search results. This issue seems to be happening about every other time I am browsing search results.
Any ideas or possible fixes? The box has plenty of space around it (as I read in another thread about DVRs resetting in order to cool off).
hi - try two things.
1. Go to www.verizon.com/repair and use the Quick Fix for Set Top Boxes.
2. Press Menu > settings > video settings > SD OVerride and Turn it off. (if it's off, then switch to 480i)
Are you noticing this issue still? If yes, can you give more details like
version of the box
Are you navigating inside guide or your are using search and navigating thrugh search results after giving desired search keyword?
