STB Not Working

I have a std STB box on my bedroom TV.  This week, the TV won't pick up any channels and the STB box seems to not be working.  It will power on but the clock never sets and the TV never picks up a signal.  The screen stays completely black. I've reset it, checked all the connections and run through the troubleshooting.

Has anyone ever had this problem?  How did you fix it?

You need to confirm that the cable line providing signal is indeed working.  Are you able to swap this stb with one in another room?  If the problem follows to the other room then the STB went bad and a call to Verizon is in order (call 888-553-1555)
