Is there a way to set up a Motorola QIP2500-3 STB so that the digital clock display is off when the STB is off? This particular STB is in a bedroom on a wall rack, and the bright digital clock is annoying in the middle of the night. The time display is redundant to the various other clocks in the room as well.
TIA - jbsman

I have my Bedroom STB configured the way that you want.
I'm not at my STB, so I can't give you the exact sequence, but...
Press the menu button on the remote and look thru the Options. (I have mine set to show the Channel Number when on and nothing when off.
If you can't locate it ley me know and I'll post menus to configure it.
