Science Channel HD has what looks like an interlace issue. It is most easily seen with white text. The edges of the characters have a pattern that looks like a non-interlaced image being displayed interlaced. I was watching last night and this problem was not present. I have checked numerous other HD channels and they do not have this problem either.

This problem has not gone away.
I did find that someone else experienced the same issue on Dish network:
https://support.dish.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=10174
And at the end of that thread the OP said that the issue was resolved without any explanation.
In that post, he notes that it was several of the discovery networks channels. I've just checked and I do in fact see the same problem on Discovery, TLC and Animal Planet as well as still on the Science Channel.
No one else is experiencing this?
