Suggest Channels to Add to FiOS TV

Here is another person who is posting for the first time. I am an extremely satisfied fios customer, having switched from comcast two years ago. If comcast gets fsc-hd and fios does not, I won't immediately switch, but I won't wait too long. Fios, please add fsc-hd.

I'm another person who's first post is for FSC.  What's suspicious about it?  Why would I waste time posting on a Verizon forum unless I have a reason to?  Personally, the difference between Comcast and FIOS is pretty negligible to me, so I will most definitely switch if it means getting FSC in HD.  Every other channel I care about is available on both Comcast and FIOS in HD.

Other providers have already added Fox Soccer Channel (FSC) HD.

Please add FSC-HD and FSC+ as soon as you can.  The beautiful game must be watched in glorious HD.  The current FSC picture quality is highly lacking.

I just noticed the brouhaha over first time posters asking for FSC HD.  I basically googled "FIOS FSC HD" and came to some other forum posting on here requesting FSC HD specifically, and I believe a forum moderator pasted a link to this specific forum where I am now making a request.  I am not sure why I would ever have had a reason to post here before this as I am completely satisfied with FIOS except for the fact that it is missing FSC HD.

Also would be nice if Setanta was cheaper.

Also, my parents who have their own FIOS account wouldn't mind having a Pakistani TV package which is currently available on DishNetwork.  However, I'm pretty sure there are probably some contractual things going on there as I believe ONLY DishNet carries a Pakistani package.

Please add Television Dominicana from Dominican Republic. Dish Network and Directv already have this channel.

I know for a fact that you would get thousands of new subsribers by adding this channel who only stick around with Dish and Directv because of it.

Oh and one more thing when are you adding Telemundo HD, Univision HD and Telefutura HD? They have been HD for a while now.

Never intended to start a brouhaha.  It just struck me as odd that there would be such a flurry of requests, when more popular channels that have already been out for a while get fewer.  I had a feeling that there was some external site directing folks here, which I guess you've confirmed.  No biggie...it just explains a lot.  Nothing wrong with making the requests.  I was just curious as to where some of them might be coming from.  Anyway, as I said before, I have heard that Verizon is working on adding FSC as soon as possible.  Just keep in mind how difficult Fox can be in negotiations, which can often delay start-ups.

I'm sorry but no outside site directed me here other than google, which first led me to another thread on this same site, from which a moderator of this site had a post directing users in that thread to this thread to make a request for FSC HD.  Just setting the record straight.  Can't speak for others but I guess this channel is now picking up steam as it has beeen announced live on other providers.

FSC HD needs to happen asap.

Champions League on standard definitions doesn't do the game justice.

I don't want to hear excuses about negotiation issues or anything along those lines.  Comcast was able to come to terms with Fox and I expect verizon to do the same.

Soccer is a big sport and the only reason fans haven't complained on verizon boards prior to this is that we knew there was not HD offering available.  Now that FSC has started an HD feed we need to be able to see matches in HD glory.
