I've seen quite a few threads and posts floating around suggesting various channels/programs you would like to see on FiOS TV. In an effort to consolidate the information, I have decided to create this single thread about the subject. Feel free to reply to it with your suggestion(s) on what you would like to see on FiOS TV.
Please note: I make no promises as to whether or not you will see these channels/programs on FiOS TV. Though I do know that the right people here at Verizon are looking at this thread for your feedback and advice on the matter.

Please add CSN+ or FoxSports South - that's a gaping hole in the coverage of ACC basketball.
Please Add Fox Soccer Channel HD and Fox Soccer Plus they will be availible on March 1st 2010.
CSN+ in Howard County, MD. We used to get it, not sure why we don't anymore. During the winter there are lots of conflicts between Wizards, Caps and Terps game and one always gets sent to this channel.
Fox Soccer Channel in HD. PLEASE?
Please add NECN HD (New England Cable News). The only reason I have a HD receiver in my kitchen is to watch NECN, and they have just started to broadcast in HD.
I think I join a lot of customers when I share my frustration at the pace at which HD channels are being added.
The following channels are (to the best of my knowledge) already offered in HD and should be added ASAP to the FIOS lineup:
BBC America-HD
CBS College Sports-HD
Chiller-HD
RFDTV-HD
HLN-HD
Comcast Sportsnet + HD (When sporting events conflict they are relegated to Channel 1--a terrible picture)
Also--we live in the Fredericksburg, VA area--midway between DC and Richmond. Your competitor in the area (Comcast) offers network feeds for both the DC and Richmond stations--something Fios should think about adding.
Actually, some of those channels (like CHILLER, RFD) do NOT have HD feeds.
CSN+ is currently not offered in HD. Those of us in the CSN footprint who do not have access to FiOS1 (most of us in the region) cannot see the CSN+ feed at all. The part-time, grainy feed is what Comcast Sportsnet believes is an acceptable picture. They can be reached at viewermail@csnwashington.com
**btw- the outside vendor that produces and puts together FiOS1 gets the CSN+ and MASN2 feeds, then incorporates the games into the channel.
Some good news to report. The FCC has just ruled in favor of FiOS (and other carriers) against Cablevision regarding the blocking of some sports programming in HD. (Which was why Verizon was unable to carry MSG-HD, etc.) So for those who want to see teams like the New York Knicks, the New York Rangers, New York Islanders and New Jersey Devils...that may soon be possible in HD. Hopefully, this ruling also applies to MSNBC-HD. No time frame yet as to when viewers will actually be able to see them added (I'm sure carriage-agreements would still have to be dealt with), but it is good to know that progress has been made. It is now less a matter of "if" and more a matter of "when."

I have Verizon FIOS box simply to watch Fox Soccer Channel. The
Box never moves from that channel.
This is worth switching providers to whom ever carries it.
Please add it as soon as you can.
I already get (pay for Extreme), so if FSC PLUS shows up there I would be happy.
Of course I would also like to see FSC HD show up. Im a FIOS customer and would hope the best TV Service provider in the nation steps up to the plate and offers this on time, so I dont have to switch back to COMCAST.

Pleeeeeeease add this...they show all the Cleveland Cavalier games, this would be huge!
Unfortunately, the games on FS Ohio (and all other regional sports nets) cannot be shown outside of their territories without the purchase of the respective league's out of market package. DirecTV does offer a subscription to all these channels, but all out of market pro games are blacked out unless a league package is purchased.
In our area, the only teams we can see on a RSN are the Nationals, Orioles, Capitals, and Wizards. All other games not on a national network can only be seen through the purchase of a league package.
I am a hunting and gun enthusiast. I enjoy the Sportsman Channel. I would like to see you add the Pursuit Channel to your programming.

Honorable mention goes to all comcast sportsnet channels and all other sports related request which besides these top 8 made the bulk of the voting.
sirpilsofd , good work! However, there is no such thing as a NASA-HD channel.
May as well add my vote for TCM-HD and BBC-HD. (TCM would probably rate higher if they were actually broadcasting films in HD. With 2 or 3 exceptions, they are not, as of yet...tho they are working on it.). I'd also vote for MSNBC-HD, but we all know that channel is simply just not available to be added, no matter how many people request it. But Style, E!, and G4 (why people request something like G4 which has practically no HD programming is beyond me.) are rumored to be coming soon.
My number one request would be BBC America HD.

How about the Fox Soccer Plus station that starts service March 1st. I understand the existing Barclays Premiership soccer contract that is under Setanta Sports subscription channel currently will end Feb 28. I will be cancelling my Setanta Sports channel service at that date; hoping to connect with the subscription service Fox Soccer Plus.
