Will we be able to watch the Tour de France via FIOS in Northern Virginia?
The TV listings on the NBC Sports Network website, display at least one TDF broadcast for each day of the Tour.
The FIOS listings display a Preview show and the Prologue race on the NBC Sports stations, and Stages 1, 7, & 8 on the main NBC stations. Stages 2 through 6 are nowhere to be found.
During the period, the NBC Sports stations on FIOS are filled with the usual legacy Versus filler (e.g., hunting, XTreme boxing, Bull Riding).
Who decides what gets broadcast on our local NBC Sports Network stations--NBC or Verizon--and who do I call to complain?
I'm wondering the same thing. I'm in La Verne, CA, and with Ultimate HD all I see on the program guide is weekend coverage. For more than 10 years I've been watching DAILY coverage of the Tour, through OLN and then Versus. If weekend coverage is all that is offered, there will need to be some changes made! One way or another, I'll find a provider that shows the ENTIRE Tour de France!

Sorry, but in the world does this have to do with Verizon!?!?! Serioulsy they have zero control over what th NBC Sport channel broadcasts. You can switch providers all you want it's not going to be any different. Now if you're complaining because the data on the program guide is possibly wrong, okay (Verizon's guide content is the absolute worst), but blaming FiOS because of what NBC sports is doing or not doing is rather absurd.
The issue was the apparent difference between what NBC Sports listed (every day coverage) and what FIOS listed on the programming guide (weekend only coverage). Obviously, if the two get back in sync, there should be no issue.

The Verizon Guide is notorious for having lots of programming errors. I would believe the NBC Sports site.
If you want to complain to the Verizon Guide data provider, it is FYI Television in Grand Prairie, TX.
