VCR help?

I don't know how to work my VCR with Fios.  The video is playing, but I can't remember how to pull it up to watch it.

What way do you have your VCR connected to the display device or television?

Switch to that source/input, and you should start getting whatever your VCR's putting out.

My mother-in-law is haveing the same problem . Her TV has FIOS, but she wants to watch an old DVD or VHS in her player. Can anyone give me steps how to get the viewing correct. We could hear it spinning but not sure how to view it. . . what buttons to use on the hand control??? Thanks for any help.  My email is {edited for privacy}
