VOD NOT CURRENT

I've tried to watch various TV shows, that are on demand, but a lot of times the shows are not there when they should be, or will be in STD, but not HD, until much later. Iv'e gone on my computer, and they were available there, as well as in COMCAST, which my daughter has. Why the delay at Verizon?
