Video settings after upgrade are not right!!!

I have a 50" Samsung plasma HDTV and before the upgrade had no issues with video format.  Since the "upgrade" the guide and certain channels do not fit on the screen.  the image is too large.  channels like ESPN that have a ticker, etc on the screen do no fit.  the image on the bottom of the screen or on the sides get chopped off.  some upgrade!!!!  have been on hold for a total of 1.5 hours with Verizon cust support and have yet to speak to someone.  waited a half hour 3x and gave up.  Please HELP!

Try pressing the # button on your FiOS TV remote control to resize the image.
