It is channel 598 in Westchester as well. It is only available if you subscribe to the Ultimate HD package. The channel is there but unavailable. I currently have an old deal so I'm paying $20 less for the Extreme HD package. For me to upgrade would cost me $45 a month to get one channel. It is not available as an add-on. So, unless you are willing to shell out the cash for Verizon's most expensive package, you are still not going to get BeIN Sports.
They did add BeIN 2 to the Spanish language package, La Connexion.
The Verizon people said a few times on the blogs that there will be a way to buy the channels without upgrading, but as usual they are not saying when. I think they just need to get it rolled out completely before doing anything. There's no indication how it will work either, whether it will be included in the "sports package" add on with channels in the lower 300's, or if it will be stand alone deal like Fox Soccer Plus.
I can see both channels now, I can add bein sports for $15 extra a month, can anyone confirm? also is if I add it, does it reset to a 2 year contract or not?
Verizon FIOS already have it on there. I noticed it on my channel list on 03/31/2013 but it was inactive. It's on HD Channel 598. I highlighted 598 and pressed OK but it was inactive. I'll call Vz later to inquire. I'm sure it will be active soon.
beIN SPORT said Verizon FiOS TV has added both beIN SPORT HD and beIN SPORT en Español HD to its lineup.
beIN SPORT is or will be on Channel 598 in the FiOS TV Ultimate HD package. The Spanish-language beIN SPORT en Español HD will be available on Channel 1538 in Verizon’s La Conexion and Spanish-language TV packages. The channels are available now to FiOS TV customers in Florida, Texas, California, and Pittsburgh and will be available in all markets by mid-April, the Al Jazeera Sports-owned programmer said.
beIN Sport is owned by Al-Jazeera????????? Who knew??
Do the people who don't want AZ still want beIN???

great now it has happened!!!
why they don´t keep gol tv? It´s not even HD...and they are waiting until the 6 of May, why not at least to the end of the season....i am so upset right now....
and I can´t cancel my contract (I would in a second!), because there is nowhere else to go (atl east in maryland)....comcast, dirct tv and dish they all dropped gol tv.
Gol will be gone this month. And FOX is shutting down FOX Soccer Channel in September, and rebranding it as fXX, the younger skewing fX channel.
beIN (a/k/a Al-Jazeera Sports Network) will now be your main carrier, on cable, for Soccer. Watch AJSN to start to carry the leagues that were broadcast on Gol and FSC.
Hello, I was wondering if there was any way to get BeIN Sport added to my current service without having to change my plan. Im a big soccer fan and they always have games on there. I have FiOS Extreme HD right now.
You can add the English channel by subscribing to Sports Pass, and/or the Spanish channel by adding the Spanish Package. I did some research, and it alooks like every other provider offers BeIN in the top package and/or sports package. BeIN en Espanol seems to always be offered in only providers' Spanish packages. I also could not find any provider offering both channels in the same package.
