$200 of any tablet

I signed up for Verizon FIOS in early March. A few weeks later I received a coupon for $200 off any tablet from Verizon Wireless as a thank you for signing up with FIOS. I took the cupon to my local Verizon Wireless store this weekend and ordered an iPad. The price I was quoted was the same price I viewed on the website for the iPad Air. What I was sold was an iPad mini. When I said I wanted the Air I was told the rebate does not apply to the Air and I could only get a $100 rebate on that device. When I asked about the price I was told that the website prices reflect a $200 rebate already. Everybody who walks in the store gets $200 off automatically?  Thanks for nothing but a waste of my time.
