When my husband was alive we got a promotional offer of a Android Tablet for free for signing up for a certain amount of time. About a year and a half later he passed away. Up until that time I usually used the tablet at home connecting to our home wifi. Very seldom did I use the shared minutes we had. The tablet worked great all the time.
After he passed I had his cell phone turned off and have had noting but trouble with the tablet ever since. I get messages like "Sim card not from Verizon" "Refreshing Sim card data" Sites won't load and if they do they are really slow and unresponsive.
My question is will I need to buy a different Sim card for it and if so what kind and where can I get one. I'm not very savvy when it come to these things so talk slow and be specific...LOL! TIA!
