I get a lot of email messages from verizon. I am not a customer.
I don't think it is a fishing attempt. Here are example subjects:
"Your online bill is available"
"XXXXX, your payment date is approaching"
"You aren't currently eligible for a discount"
"Your Receipts Are Available to View in My Verizon"
You get the idea. I have called Verizon and asked them to fix this. They tell me there is no way to find a customer by the email address on their account.
And obviously Verizon does not verify the email addresses on accounts. (Except strangely they verified my email when I signed up as a community member to gripe about this issue)
Anyone have a suggestion on how I can get Verizon to quit send me someone else's email? The service team can't seem to figure it out.
aaargh.
