I currently pay my monthly bill via Auto Pay which is an ETF from my checking account. Can I instead Auto Pay monthly from a pre designated Credit Card ?

No.
you can go off autopay and do monthly one time payments.
they (Verizon) like to have you use checking accounts since they don't pay the fees like with credit cards, and they don't afford the same protections as credit cards.
