BBU Battery Replacement
Kieranpatrick11

Hello,

I am having an issue removing the Positive AND Negative wires on my BBU. The replacement battery arrived, and the battery was easy to remove from the box - but after watching the tutorial video on here, it doesn't help, as there is only a "clip" on the positive red wire. The black wire seems like it is just attached, with no way of removing it. There is certainly no clip. The red positive wire is not coming free from it's attachment from using the clip anyway.... I have tugged on it for a while, and I am adamant that the undoing of "clips" is not possible at this point.

Could you let me know how to solve this problem? Thanks.

It is a spade clip. It does pull off. wiggle and pull hard.

I usually use the back end of a screwdriver and gently knock them off of the posts.
