Can't redeem $100 amazon gift card.

Hello,
I got this email today: 

Register for your $100 
Amazon.com Gift Card.

A.	Click the Let's Go button below and sign in using your  My Verizon user ID and password
B.	Once signed in, click on the gift card image and follow  the instructions to register your card.
C.	Watch for your card to arrive via email 24-48 hours  after you register

After clicking Let's go it takes me to my account and when I click register on amazon card it says 

"

Sorry. We could not find a matching record 
for the account information provided.

I was able to get the year of prime and free echo dot offers. But Amazon gift card hasn't worked since it has been installed about a month ago.
