Cant find PIN for $50 Visa gift card! Help

I recently received my $50 verizon visa prepaid reward card in the mail after signing up for fios. I am trying to use it towards my upcoming bill. However, when I enter the reward card as a new payment type under credit/debit card, the following message is displayed and I cannot add the reward card as a new payment method:

"We are sorry, we could not process your request. Please try again later." I think I need to enter a pin but I can't find it and every time I try calling the number on the back its just a machine, I can't speak to anyone. I threw away the mail it came with so I am lost in what to do in this situation.

They may not allow you to use the cards to pay your bill.
