Changes to tier channel lineup = void contract?

Verizon seems to be making frequent changes to the tier channel lineups. This seems odd as customers sign a contract based on an offered selection of channels. If Verizon unilaterally changes that lineup, it should follow that the contract becomes void.

Read the Contract and the TOS.
They have the right to change the programming with or without notice. Raise prices, etc.
