Verizon tech support always comes through. Recently I had a connectivity problem with my smart TV and hand held devices. I called tech support and was immediately connected to a gentleman who asked me a few questions one of which was my router recently reset to which I answerd yes. He said he knew what the problem was and had me up and running in no time. This is my typical experience with Verizon tech support. My daughter has Comcast and cannot even reach their Tech Support.

Unfortunately others have not had quite the same experience as you.
I myself find the twitter support @verizonsupport to be quite helpful and timely.
