Discovery+ is impossible to cancel

My free year subscription period for Discovery+ is expiring and I've tried to cancel in multiple ways -- it's impossible. Please help!

I spent 1 hour via Chat in the app and the rep said they don't have a way to cancel it. What? Why? How?

Both instructions on the website to cancel are impossible to follow because the stated buttons do not exist. 

Instructions 1: "Manage Subscription" does not exist on the main page of the Fios account.

Log into My Verizon or the My Fios app. Choose Manage Subscription, then under Pick your Streaming Services, click or tap the discovery+ tile to remove your

Instructons 2: "Apps & add-ons" does not exist under Account anywhere else on the Fios website or in the app

  • From a web browser, sign in to My Verizon .
  • From the My Verizon Home page, navigate: 
    Apps & add-ons
  • From the 'My Add-ons & Apps' section, click the 
    More icon  in the 'discovery+' section.
    If necessary, click See All  from the 'My Add-ons & Apps' section then from the 'discovery+' section, click Manage Subscription
