Early Termination Fee

I have cancelled my service becaused i moved and fios isn't offered in my area. Please advise on how to remove termination fee.

If you call 1-800-VERIZON and explain you are moved into a non Verizon area they may just wipe it off your account. However, they are under no obligation to do so. They upheld their contract with you, and you had to break it.

i have heard on occasion Verizon has forgiven the early termination fee with proof of the move to a non service location. But as I said it is not always done.

however the ETF is prorata. So if you had only 6-8 months or even less you pay about $10 a month for each month. And not $250-$350
