Over the past nine years, Verizon Triple Play, Fios, whatever it is called has gone from an average monthly cost of around $70 to a current $159 plus per month. The only change in service has been higher upload and download speeds for internet service. This increase in monthly cost for the triple play or whatever you call the three services - cable, internet, and telephone - is unconscionable. Just saying. Looking at A T and T and other providers in Hampton Roads as I write this complaint. Verizon has competition. I am simply not willing to pay this amount for service, when I get a similar triple play plan in my Florida Home from Comcast at about $80 per month. AND the Comcast representatives are at least friendly when they answer the phone usually on US soil - 24 hours per day.
