I live in densely populated area next to Princeton, NJ.
And to this day we don't have FiOS. I had to switch to Comcast for my internet service.
I don't understand why, there is sizable market for Verizon, and they keep ignoring us, while evrybody next to us
have it.
Verizon announced several years ago that they would not be rolling out FiOS to any new areas. Something to do with ROI, I suspect. Spend some time with Google and you'll find lots of articles about this.
If you happen to live on the line between FiOS and non-FiOS areas I can understand why it's frustrating. Unfortunately, Verizon drew the line somewhere and they aren't going to change it.
If you really want FiOS, the only immediate action you can take is to move to an area that has it.
Good Luck.
