Everytime we lose power we have to contact Verizon to reset our IP address or something on their end. Today I’ve been on hold for 3 hours and still haven’t spoken with anyone. Also tried chat a few times but gave up after 20+ min of no response. Is there a better way to get in contact with support?
Yes. Twitter @Verizonsupport or fb.

Can you post in the Fios Internet section so users can attempt to answer your question? To me, it should be the case. Do you have residential or business service? For residential service, the router should pull a dynamic IP address from Verizon layer 3 automatically. No need to configure. What issues are you encountering exactly? No Internet connection or the ONT shows abnormality?
In general, if you have frequent power outages, maybe consider adding a Power Reserve or Uninterruptible Power Supply.
