How do I disable "Verizon Digital Assistant"?

Beginning a few days ago, I started seeing the "Verizon Digital Assistant" whenever I logged into my online account. It's nothing more than a useless chat bot that gives answers to questions that I didn't ask. There appears to be no way of getting rid of it by default.
Has anyone had any luck permanently disabling this "feature" by default?
