I would appreciate any assistance regarding how to file a formal complaint about a customer service representative. I placed a call today regarding loss of fios service following a power outage in my home, on behalf of an account shared by myself and my husband. Unfortunately the representative was quite rude, including, in part, never asking my own name, assuming it was my husband's. He was also dismissive when I addressed this concern, literally laughing. This may seem minor but it is an important thing to be mindful of casual sexism when communicating with customers. I would appreciate how to file a formal complaint so that this can be taken into account. Any assistance would be much appreciated.
You could call back in and request to speak to a supervisor but I would guess it would go nowhere and be a waste of time.
