Loose manhole cover

Hi,

There is a Verizon manhole cover outside my house that is loose and clanks every time a car drives over it.  I'm on a busy street so the noise is nearly constant.

I've checked with the city--they won't touch it.  Nobody I've talked to at Verizon seems to know who is responsible for this.  Any ideas?

Call you local police dept non emergency number they will get it taken care of. If that doesn't work call your local politician.

Get some driveway crack sealer it comes in a bottle at home improvement store. at night when traffic is light pour it in around the edge of the lid. that will do it.
