Problems Moving with overlapping service

maybe someone can help me here, cause the folks on the phone only want to sell me faster internet.

I am trying to move my service (with possibly overlapping) to my new home.  I have an actiontec router.  I want to keep that router.  I have a phone number, I want to keep that number. 

My new house is in a fios covered area but it is not currently installed in the house.  Not one phone rep seems to be able to figure out how I can move (or overlap) my service without either:

a) trying to sell me a router

b) setup install in new house while continuing service at old house

c) having a long outage of service after install a new house since service needs to move.

It can't be this hard..
