I am going to be moving to a different unit within the same apartment building. The building is wired for FIOS, so the installs take no time beyond plugging the fiber line into the ONT and enable the fiber line in the utility room. In total, I think the last install took ~30 minutes.
That said, I don't want to have to deal with equipment returns like last time I moved apartments (different buildings).
Also, looking at the "upcoming installation dates" for the FIOS "move your service" I noticed that they are far in advance. I was wondering if it is possible to piggyback of another installation of someone within my building -- since the 4-hour estimated window online is overkill for this building.
