I see we can once again stay signed in.  But, What a round about way of doing that.  First you are sent to "Pay bill page" and every time you choose to go to your home page, it signs in twice to get you there.

Get some new programmers, or just return to original program for doing that.Smiley LOL

This sytem is working for me for a while now...

Logging into VZ and VZ Email

I use Chrome Browser Version 41.0.2272.118 m

And Norton 360…In Norton Identity Safe…my VERIZON Residential login is stored

I have an icon on my desktop

https://mail.verizon.com/webmail/driver?nimlet=showmessages&view=emails#mail_Emails_INBOX

After I boot up the Pc for the day

I click on above url and it takes me directly to my Inbox

I also have another icon on my desktop for the VZ Forums

http://forums.verizon.com/t5/FiOS-Internet/bd-p/FiOS_Internet

Note that this takes me to the FiOS Internet Forum.

The first time I use the icon for the day I first click on Register and that signs me in to the Forum.

Thereafter I can go to any Forum.

If I "close” My Inbox and / or Forums I can get back to them by clicking on the appropriate icon.

I'm having the same problem as Topdog. We're not talking about signing into the email or forum pages. We have as our home page Trending, but we are being taken to the My Verizon page, which has profile and notifications on it. We want the page with news, etc. It takes two steps to get to the page and it doesn't end up as the Trending page with news. We are signed in for 2 weeks--i guess it's 2 weeks as it doesn't say for how long. We can get to the Trending page by clicking on the home symbol but it' should not be necessary. If we click on the shortcut on our desktop for Verizon Trending home page, that's what we should get.

After signing in and using both the email and forum links that I have as icons I added this icon to my desktop

http://fiostrending.verizon.com/news/

Then I closed both the email and forum links and clicked on the trending icon

It took me directly the news.

Hope it helps in your case.

I have the email icon on my desktop, and now I just click on email, and then click on the Home symbol to get the Trending page. I didn't put the forum icon on my desktop because I don't usually go to the forums every day. But I think topdog and I would like to be able to do what we did in the past and just click on the desktop icon for the Trending page and go right to the Trending page. We put we want to go to the Trending page but in 2 steps they take us to the Pay bill, profile, notification page (My Verizon page).

 Thanks anyway,

Holly

PS: What's the matter with the Verizon programmers--why don't they test things first. I also put this wrong page problem in the feedback for the Verizon page.
