Verizon has buried cable underground across the back of my property and not in an easement. The cable needs to be relocated outside my fence and yard. Who do I contact to have the cable moved?
Call verizon. If they do not remove it from your property, give then a time limit and then cut the cable. My daughter did that and they removed it as soon as customer started complaining. By the way she does not even get verizon and they ran their line acroos her sidewalk and on top of the lawn. Her husband had to move it out of the way when he cut the grass.
I wouldn't recommend cutting the cable.
You could be charged with desturction of property.
I would just contact them.
BTW, why do you care if it is underground?
Unless they are accessing your property, you will never know it is there.
