I'm in the process of renovating a home I just bought and need to put a driveway in. The pole on the sidewalk sits dead center of where my driveway would go. Need it moved 4-5 feet.

You are in luck, Verizon has been charging a bogus NYS Municipal Construction Surcharge on customers invoices just for this purpose. So they collect millions and make it difficult to get the pole moved. You can try 1-800-VERIZON and see if anyone can help or try http://www.dps.ny.gov

and call them and tell them what you want. They can have Verizon contact you.

i would call them instead of filing an online complaint.

they regulate Verizon in New York State make sure to mention that surcharge.
