I was also promised a $100 gift card for signing up for gigabyte connection, but I never received it. I was originally going to get the 100mbps, but they told me I would get free installation and a gift card for the faster and more expensive service. After not receiving the gift card I called, and the women with customer service confirmed that they never sent it and connected me to the gift card department. The next person wasn't so nice. He said they sent me the gift card and that I had spent it. He even rudely claimed that I personally spent it a Lukoil, Dunkin Donuts, etc. Was very unprofessional about it. I tried to revert back to the cheaper internet, but they told me that it would cost about the same because the $39.99 price was for new customers only and that I would have to pay an extra $20 and $10 router fee each month(a fee waived by my current plan). So it would only be $10 less than the gig connection. I tried speaking to a supervisor, which took forever to get through to, and they did absolutely nothing to help, just referred me back to the gift card department. The gift card is a scam to get you to purchase a more expensive package.
